As a technical team manager for 20 years, I have always been committed to questioning and improving my management practices.
Among the pioneers of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps in France since 2010, I turned my attention to lean management in 2016, convinced of the invaluable contribution this approach could make to further continuous improvement and collaboration with clients.
At Operae Partners, a coaching firm specializing in Lean, I have supported numerous IT, HR, sales, and support teams on this Lean journey for more than five years. This experience has helped sharpen my perspective and develop my approach focused onproblem solving and team development. I have had the opportunity to work with French top 40 companies as well as SMEs and startups.
In order to share my experience with a younger audience, I also teach lean management at the Sorbonne and IAE Gustave Eiffel.
This blog is an opportunity for me to share my experiences and daily practice in managing tech teams. I hope to learn from your feedback and comments, because for me, a good day is a day when I’ve learned something new!
Finally, a word about the title of my blog, which is a reference to the famous film “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”: throughout my posts, three protagonists will appear:
• the Good, which represents everything that is valuable to customers, teams, and the company
• the Waste, which covers all waste and sources of inefficiency that waste employees’ time
• the LEARNING, the lessons learned from problem solving.
Happy reading, see you soon!
